Mated Mitsubishi Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Timing technology Electronic (MIVEC) to Auto Stop & Go (AS & G). The goal, to machines that use both technologies are more economical fuel consumption. According to Mitsubishi in a release, the first machine that would combine the two technologies is 4J10 capacity of 1.8 liters.
This engine will be paired on a compact SUV, RVR (name in Japan) or ASX Outlander Sport in some countries). Other models are also equipped with this technology is the Galant Fortis sedan Sport (outside of Japan called the Lancer or Lancer EX) and Galant Fortis Sportback (Lancer Sportback) 5-door hatchback. With the combination of both technologies, the three models mentioned, earlier, more efficient fuel consumption 12 percent (tested with the Japanese method).
New MIVEC

AS & G's latest, mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Other changes, using a 12 volt battery is more durable and converters DC / DC (to prevent interference with audio sound systems and Navitas system when the engine is turned on).
