Sementara wanita, sesuai survei LT menyebutkan bahwa 95 persen wanita selama proses membeli kendaraan lebih menyoroti soal keselamatan, sehingga lebih banyak bertanya serta memeriksa hal tersebut. Sementara 94 % lagi khawatir terhadap sejarah yang menimpa kendaraan tersebut. Sedangkan pria, 83 persen performa mengemudi menjadi perhatian utama, lalu diikuti dengan 75 persen melirik ke mesin.

Untuk eksterior atau tampilan,  sekitar 74 persen menyatakan estetika itu penting, lalu di rating ketiga menyangkut kendaraan yang harus dimiliki. Bagi wanita, estetika itu ada di urutan ke sembilan dan hanya  46 persen wanita menyatakan  hal itu sebagai faktor penting.

Jika harus membeli kendaraan tua, 67 persen wanita lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu untuk memeriksa setiap detil kendaraan, sedang pria pria hanya 55 persen saja. "Ketika perempuan berbelanja mobil, mereka lebih sering mengajukan pertanyaan yang lebih spesifik tentang kendaraan tersebut, bahkan sampai hal yang sebenarnya mereka sudah tahu jawabannya," jelas Stiberman.
